We are looking to expand our available services, and you can help!

Patreon is the easiest way to support us without buying anything.

40% of our Patreon profits go towards administrative tasks, and the remaining 60% are split between our artists.

We need your help to cover crucial office infrastructure purchases and replacements.

These are items we are looking to purchase and why we need them, as well as the estimated costs associated with each item.

Postal Scale

  • Weighing small packages for shipping purposes.
  • Weighing small items for things like service dog bringsels.

Estimated cost: $20

Label Printer

  • Printing invoices
  • Printing shipping labels
  • Reduces shipping costs

Estimated cost: $70 for printer, and additional costs for an initial stock of paper and ink.

New Office PC

Our current computer is a six year old desktop that is no longer capable of running some of the modelling and design software we use to develop patterns.

Estimated computer cost: $1500
Estimated software costs: $400

We are looking to replace the tower alone, not monitors or other peripherals, for the main office computer.

Software Upgrade

Some of our software needs renewing and upgrading. This includes modeling software, office software and management tools, and the pattern software that we use in a number of products.

Estimated software costs: $400

Repairs Needed and Accessibility Upgrades

In some cases, we need items to be repaired that might be outside our budget. We also occasionally need to make upgrades that make our studio more accessible.

Please note that Studio Sayre supports the reduction of e-waste, and we try to repair anything electronic whenever possible.

3D Printer Repairs

Our office is home to a Creality 3D printer that is in dire need of repair.

Estimated repair costs: $300

We support reduction of e-waste, and we would prefer to repair the printer rather than replace it.

Filament

During Hurricane Helene, our filament storage was damage and much of it rendered unusable.

While we have saved what we can, we are looking to upgrade our dry box system and replace the lost filament.

Estimated storage cost: $15 per roll

Estimated filament cost: $18 per roll

Accessible Mouse

We are looking to bring our office laptop up to required accessibility standards.

To do this, we need to equip the laptop with a special type of mouse that is more accessible, specifically a vertical mouse.

Estimated cost: $35

Support an Artist in need: Tobi

All of our artists and employees are disabled. As you can imagine, disability does not pay enough to cover all expenses, and the reach of insurance and other assistance programs is limited.

You can choose to sponsor the needs of one of our artists in full or in part.

Tobi: Mattress

Tobi is in need of a new mattress.

Estimated cost: $600

Mattresses are one of the most prohibitively expensive items for a person on disability to replace. This would help cover an expense Tobi otherwise cannot afford on her own.

Service Dog OFAs

Tobi's service dog needs to undergo her OFAs.

Estimated cost: $800-1200

Tobi is attempting to find a vet who will do the radiographs required in her area.

OFAs are needed to determine joint health in service dogs.

Additionally, we are raising the funds twice over in case Rocket Launcher needs to retire, so Tobi can afford the OFA radiographs on their next dog.

Tobi: Mobility Aids

Tobi is in need of a new mobility cane that fits her needs.

Estimated cost: $100

Tobi's needs are fairly complex in terms of mobility and this would enable a custom cane to be created that meets her specific needs.

Tobi would like to go with Neowalk, as Neowalk best fits her specific needs.

Animal Vaccines

Every year, all animals associated with the studio need their vaccines.

Risa estimated yearly vaccinations cost: $200

Rocket Launcher estimated yearly vaccination costs: $350

Rocket Launcher needs to receive Bordetella twice a year, necessitating a second office visit. This drives up the expenses.
