If you don't have a needed thread color in stock, will you purchase it?

Yes, we will! This is factored into the price of all commissions, to allow for color restocking if need be.

Can you do backgrounds?

YES! Depending on the design, there may be limitations on how complex the background can be.

Can you change the outline color?

Absolutely! Please note that the outlines are pre-made in batches, so this can add 3-4 days to the turnaround time.

Can you make "identical" copies of a pattern?

Yes, this is generally possible, provided the original item isn't a custom pattern for someone.

(It is important to note that exact duplicates are not guaranteed. There is natural variation in materials color by dye lot, original material availability for pattered fabrics, and also pattern ownership agreements, among other factors.)

Can you use metallic thread?

We are actively looking for a less-harsh metallic thread! The one we originally had in stock was not kind on hands.

Can you add text to cross-stitched pieces?

Sometimes. It can be a bit iffy and depends on the length of the quote or text itself.

Can you use colored Aida?

Yes. This does carry a materials upcharge as we only keep white and off-white Aida in the studio.

Can you use a count other than 14 count Aida?

Yes. Please reach out to us to ensure we have it in stock. Please note that this may affect the sizing of the finished piece.

If I purchase a premade item, can you add text/background to it?

We can, just reach out to us and add the item "check email" to your order.
